We support the objectives, activities, and projects of California Garden Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc. because with with many hands and minds much good can be accomplished. We want to leave behind a more beautiful world for our children to enjoy! Mission Viejo Garden Club, (formerly Canyon Crest Garden Club), is an active member of the Orange County District, a non-profit association of garden clubs affiliated with California Garden Clubs, Inc., Pacific Region, and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
- To promote interest in amateur gardening, arboretums and botanical gardens, and in the conservation, preservation and appreciation of the natural and man-made beauty of the State of California.
- We support preservation of our natural resources, encourage and participate in civic beautification, and support improvements of our local parks and parkways.
- To encourage and assist in establishing and maintaining botanical gardens and horticultural centers for the advancement of science and for the enjoyment and education of the public.
- To study and advance the fine arts of gardening, landscape design, floral design and horticulture.
- To further horticultural education, conservation, and landscape design through gift scholarships.
- To cooperate with other agencies in furthering the aforementioned objectives.
